“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Melissa Gorga may have wanted the trip to Arizona to end rather fast because she thought it was a bit too heavy with the therapy, but it sounds like she enjoyed herself in the end. She decided to have a toast during the final dinner, which didn't come out the way she wanted. In fact, while she thought she was being nice, others thought the toast was calculated. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Sept. 9, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Melissa Gorga is now defending her toast in Arizona, as she was accused of snubbing her sister-in-law.
"I was grateful for the opportunity to thank our family and friends at my birthday dinner. I addressed individuals as part of a couple and I gave extra love to those who needed the positive attention and appreciation," Gorga explained of her toast. She put emphasis on Joe Giudice, Kathy Wakile and Rosie. However, she left out Teresa Giudice. "Somehow, my singling out some with special admiration got twisted into 'snubbing' others," Gorga wrote, adding, "That was not the vibe in the room or my intention. Frankly, I was upset to hear that anyone interpreted it that way.”
It is rather funny that she is being accused of purposefully leaving out Giudice in her toast, considering Giudice did the same during a season 4 dinner, where she left Wakile out of the toast. Even though they claim they are not the same people, they do often do and say the same things.
