“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Kathy Wakile has been a part of the show for a couple of seasons, but it sounds like she isn’t a big part of the upcoming season of the show. She has been downgraded to a friend of the housewives, which makes sense because she isn’t a dramatic person at all. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on May 16, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Kathy Wakile is now speaking out about being a friend of the housewives this upcoming season.
When things got hotheaded, she managed to stay out of the drama which was a refreshing change. However, it sounds like she doesn’t mind being downgraded to a friend of the housewives, as she has been working on her dessert business. And it sounds like she is thankful for the opportunities she has gotten from being a part of the Bravo family. Because of the show, she has been able to start a dessert business with full support of the show and Andy Cohen.
"I'm so happy to be part of the Bravo family. I have enjoyed being a RHONJ Housewife and have now agreed to terms that give me the opportunity to film the show in a way which better suits my lifestyle," Kathy said. "I've been able to get to know the new girls on my terms while remaining free to focus on other great things, including the expansion of my businesses."
Kathy will be filming the show for a couple of days, meaning she will be hanging around Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice. Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita won’t be filming the show at all, since they have quit the show completely. But it sounds like Kathy is ready to focus on herself, her family and her sister, Rosie Pierri. The two have been getting closer since filming the show.
And it sounds like fans will get to see how she is doing with her dessert business, since it is a big part of her life. Plus, her family is all about building successful businesses. But it sounds like she is thankful for the exposure regardless. Will you miss seeing Kathy and Richie on the show this upcoming season?
