Joe Giudice is in trouble with animal rights activists.

As the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" husband awaits his sentencing in his and wife Teresa Giudice's fraud case, Giudice has been accused of animal abuse.

“Joe Guidice has two dogs in the back yard in cages. The dogs killed two chickens…then they go to a farm and get two more chickens and then blow cigarette smoke in a goats face and the goat screams,” activist Kris Kelly told Radar Online of Giudice's behavior on Aug. 11.

During Sunday night's episode of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," the Giudice family was seen discussing how their family German Shepards ate their chickens, and later in the show, Giudice, who was smoking a cigar, attempted to share his treat with a goat.

"One of the German Shepherds cowered in fear when Joe Guidice came in the backyard after the dog killed two chickens," Kelly continued. "I believe this man is an animal abuser."

Kelly also slammed Giudice for setting a bad example for his young daughters (Giudice and his wife have four children, Gia, 13, Gabriella, 9, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 4).

Giudice and his wife are due back in court next month, where they face several years behind bars, four for Giudice and two for Teresa.

In July, Teresa opened up to In Touch Weekly, via Radar Online, about her upcoming sentencing and the possibility of going to prison for an extended period of time.

"How could I ever prepare myself to be away from my kids?" she asked. "It’s too terrifying for me to even think about."
