“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Joe Giudice hasn’t really been taking his legal issues too seriously. He has managed to prolong his DUI charges, as the court date keeps getting pushed back. And he has plenty of other legal issues to deal with, as the fraud charges stem from his business decisions. According to a new Radar Online report published on Sept. 26, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Joe Giudice is now revealing that he doesn’t really know how much time he could spend behind bars.
“I can’t fall apart, Andy,” Teresa told Andy Cohen during a recent visit to the club house in New York. “I have my daughters. I mean, they mean the world to me.” Other than issuing a brief tweet on Twitter when they were first indicted, this is the first time that the couple has spoken out about these newest developments in their legal battle. And one can imagine that she is worried about the future and her children.
“Maybe out of all this…I don’t know, I mean there’s like…you go through things in life, I mean I don’t know why. I’m asking like, why is this happening to me?” she added. “So maybe something my daughters can learn from this is, my mom was really strong through all this, she was there for us, and I hope they always have that there with them.”
And while it is interesting to see Teresa speak out about this potential jail sentence, it is more interesting to see how her husband actually knows very little about his potential sentence. “When I heard that these charges carry a maximum of 50 years in prison…” Cohen said.
“I thought it was 100,” Joe added, almost in a humorous way. He doesn’t even know how much time he could potentially spend behind bars.
It is rather shocking that he doesn’t know how much time he will be spending behind bars. What do you think of his relaxed approach to the trial next year?
