“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Jacqueline Laurita has had plenty of reasons why she could have let herself go; a betrayal by a good friend, drama within the family, and even her son Nicholas. However, Jacqueline is all about staying healthy for herself. According to a new Bravo blog published on Oct. 29, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Jacqueline Laurita is now dishing her secrets for staying in shape for her son.
"I try to walk at least 30 minutes a day," she tells The Global Townhall in a recent interview. "I'll do walking lunges around the house, calf raisers on my stairs, push-ups, planks, crunches, and a lot of stretching when I can." Of course, Jacqueline is a true stay-at-home housewife and she has been dedicated to working with her son, who is suffering from autism. So rather than let herself go completely, she uses what she has to stay in shape for her son.
“I have a private trainer, Jolene Matthews, that will come to my house 2 to 3 days a week and do a variety of different workouts with me," she admits. She has also gotten a tummy tuck after trying to get rid of the baby weight from Nicholas. "I had gained 55 pounds with my last child," she confesses. And of course, it isn’t all about the workouts. "The weekends are all about pasta dishes, steak and lots of vegetable dishes," she says. "In the summer, we BBQ a lot. In the winter, I make a lot of hearty soups."
Are you surprised that she is taking such good case of herself?
