“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Jacqueline Laurita has confirmed that she is no longer filming the show. She wants to focus on her own life, and she has been staying at home with her son, who is dealing with autism. Last year, she revealed that she wanted to focus and dedicate herself solely to her son, which is why she stopped filming. And she is still putting her son first. According to a new Bravo report published on Feb. 24, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Jacqueline Laurita is now revealing that she has actually been writing children’s books.
It sounds like she wants to make autism more a mainstream thing, at least when it comes to information. Jacqueline and her husband Chris are "writing a book together about our journey with autism," she has revealed. "It's just been really great with my family. I feel like I'm in a very good place." And if that isn’t enough, she is also taking her beauty writing to a new level.
"My other passion is the beauty industry, so I'm also writing a book about busy moms and beauty things," she said. "I'm also writing children's books! I enjoy writing—that's what I love." So, why is she focusing on autism and writing? Well, she gets questions on social media and she wants to address these issues in a book.
"People that aren't going through it don't understand it," she said. "I love having the opportunity to be able to show people because honestly, what's given me strength is listening to everyone else's stories, their struggles, their successes. That's what gives us hope and strength, so if I can do that for someone else, then it feels so good to me."
People have been inquiring about autism, so it is smart for her to write a book. What do you think?
