“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dina Manzo was a big part of the first two seasons of the show, as she was filming with Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita and Danielle Staub. She decided to leave the successful show behind because she thought it was way too stressful for her, as she is leading a very zen-like life. And she recently sat down with Oprah to reflect on her life after the show. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Sept. 2, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dina Manzo is now speaking out about her friend's legal troubles.
Manzo and Giudice have been close friends since they filmed the show. They used to be very close before the show and it sounds like Manzo has been able to stay out of the drama as the show has been filming. She revealed that she actually leaves New Jersey during the summer to spend time in the Hamptons to skip out on the drama in New Jersey.
So, what made her leave the show in the first place. "It actually started in Season 1 why I decided to leave the Real Housewives… when I went home at the end of the night and I was shaking instead of feeling inspired, I knew there was something wrong,” she told Oprah. And even though she hasn't been super close with her family members while they have been filming the show, she is being a friend to Giudice. “She could be in the deepest hole and she's still like 'Oh my God, those shoes are great'… and that's what I love about her,” she reveals.
It sounds like Manzo is standing by her friend, even if she may be guilty. What do you think?
