“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Caroline Manzo may be proud of her husband’s hard-working attitude, as he has flipped “The Brownstone” around the moment he received it from his father’s family. And while this event establishment is the family’s pride and joy, it sounds like it isn’t bringing joy to some of the former employees. According to a new Radar Online report published on Dec. 13, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Caroline Manzo’s husband is now getting caught up in a lawsuit from a former employee.
According to the report, Albert and his brother Tommy Manzo, who is Dina Manzo’s ex-husband, are named in a lawsuit. A waitress, who worked for Albert and Tommy in Paterson, N.J., claims she’s owed money for overtime and alleges the brothers of bigotry. “Are you blind?” Tommy allegedly yelled at her, Lanise Jackson claimed in court papers. “What are you, Chinese? Open your eyes.”
In addition, Jackson claims Albert and his brother called her and other workers “Spic b*tches” on numerous occasions, and threw other racial and sexual slurs at her. Jackson reveals that she was “constructively terminated as she could no longer endure the racial, sexual, ethnic and country of origin epithets hurled at her hourly.”
Of course, Albert has addressed the lawsuit, revealing, “I’ve never spoken to any employee in that manner. This is the most insane thing I’ve ever dealt with. Now I got The “Daily News” calling me about this, I’m seriously thinking about launching a countersuit. She is defaming me.” If her story isn’t true, then Albert certainly has a case. But maybe Tommy is the one who spoke rudely to the employee, as he was going through a divorce.
