“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Caroline Manzo was offered her own pilot for a show about her family, called “Manzo’d with Children.” Because she was offered the show, she wanted to leave the housewives behind and focus on the new show. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Oct. 2, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Caroline Manzo has now revealing that she won’t be heading back to the show, and the timing is rather good for her.
Apparently, this past season wasn’t the most successful for the show and the ratings were the lowest ever during the season finale. According to Bravo Ratings, “the show’s finale and Andy Cohen’s in-depth interview with Teresa and Joe Giudice were combined, and they still produced lackluster results.” Apparently, the finale had about 2.5 million viewers. During the third season finale, the views were about 2.6 million, but all other finales have gotten more than 3 million viewers.
One has to wonder if the next season could produce more views, since it will focus on Teresa Giudice’s legal troubles. But it is a great chance for Caroline to leave the show, given the ratings were the lowest ever. It sounds like she is leaving before the show crashes completely. What do you think of her leaving the show?
