“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Caroline Manzo feels that her role on the show has been coming to an end slowly. She wanted to move forward from the drama, and she tried to solve the issues between Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga. And yet, she is moving forward from the show because she doesn’t think she can help anymore. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Oct. 14, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Caroline Manzo is now revealing that she would have been a hypocrite to continue the show given everything that went down.
“We didn't close the book, we just turned the page,” she reveals of the dramatic ending to the otherwise peaceful reunion. Of course, she has been filming her new pilot for “Manzo’d with Children,” and she seems thrilled about filming more with her family. If the pilot goes to series, Caroline “promises to give the viewers a very different look into the world of the Manzo Family.” She reveals that “we are having an absolute blast filming it.”
Some fans of the show are disappointed about her leaving the show. “Going back to film another season of Housewives would only make me a hypocrite. For me, peace and integrity cannot be bought with money or fame. I practice what I preach, and as I said on the reunion, I'm done. I simply feel that my role has run its course and I have nothing more to give,” Caroline writes. She went on the show when it was all fun and games, but now it is just drama. And it sounds like it isn’t fun for her anymore.
