Melissa Gorga's book, "Love Italian Style," has come in at number one on a books list compiled by a major magazine. Unfortunately for her, it was named the worst nonfiction book. All About The Real Housewives reported on Saturday, Jan, 11, that Entertainment Weekly designated her book the worst nonfiction of 2013.
"This relationship primer by the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star reads more like a misogyny manual," EW wrote in its summary of "Love Italian Style."
At least Melissa is in good company. EW named "Celebrate," the party planning book by Kate Middleton's younger sister Pippa Middleton, the second worst nonfiction book.
Most of the ladies of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" have come out with books. Teresa Giudice is the most prolific, with four cookbooks out. Former housewife Caroline Manzo has a family guidebook while Danielle Staub has a tell-all. The latest New Jersey housewife to become an author is Kathy Wakile, whose mini desserts cookbook will be released in September.
