Viewers of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" will see something in season six that they probably never thought they would - Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice not only being civil to each other but loving each other as family. All About The Real Housewives reported on Tuesday, May 13, that in an interview with a newspaper publication regarding the upcoming season, Melissa said that things have changed between her and her sister-in-law Teresa and that she actually loves her.
Melissa said that she and Teresa "came a long way" while filming season six and that the tables have turned. She further confirmed that she and Teresa "are in a better place now" and that no matter what happens, they're family who love hard and fight hard. Melissa also revealed a new strategy that she uses to make sure that things between her and Teresa stay good. She said that when they argue, she has to remember that she loves Teresa.
While Melissa has been busy doing a lot of press for the upcoming season, Teresa hasn't spoken out about the show as much, preferring instead to spend as much time as she can with her family. She recently celebrated Mother's Day with her husband, Joe Giudice, three daughters, and mom at her brother-in-law's home. Melissa and her husband, Teresa's brother Joe Gorga, weren't there with the Giudices, opting instead to celebrate the day on their own. They did, however, have dinner with his and Teresa's parents the night before.
What both women certainly have been doing a lot of lately is promoting their money-making ventures outside of the show. Melissa has a jewelry line with the Home Shopping Network and her book "Love Italian Style." Teresa, meanwhile, has her Fabellini sparkling wine line, Milania Hair Care line and cookbooks.
The only question is whether, once the sixth season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" does start airing, both Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice will continue to be nice to each other or whether they'll turn on each other when they watch the episodes, resorting to slamming each other on their blogs and social media accounts. If that does happen, it certainly won't be the first time that two "Real Housewives" stars went back to fighting after a brief period of peace.
