While Teresa Giudice and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga repaired their relationship in time for the filming of season six of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," the same can't be said for Teresa and her cousin Kathy Wakile. In an interview with the NY Daily News, posted on Sunday, August 31, Kathy accused Teresa of being hypocritical and not supportive of her new role as a cookbook author.

On Tuesday, September 2, Kathy excitedly announced the release of her dessert cookbook "Indulge: Delicious Little Desserts That Keep Life Real Sweet." In a tweet, she thanked everyone who made the book possible. One person who apparently did nothing to help Kathy was Teresa.

In her NY Daily News interview, Kathy said that she repeatedly reached out to Teresa off-camera several times to offer her support while filming for season six was going on. However, for whatever reasons, Teresa didn't respond to Kathy. For Kathy, it sounds as if she's done trying to reach out, pointing out that "you can’t keep offering if it’s not accepted.”

Kathy accuses Teresa, herself the author of several successful cookbooks, of turning into a mean girl once she learned that she was writing a cookbook. She said that instead of encouraging her, Teresa would just say negative things or purposefully ignore her at group events.

One of the negative things that Kathy may have been referring to was when Teresa said in season five that no one would buy a dessert cookbook because everyone is watching their weight. Yet Teresa is now also expanding her food empire to include desserts. Of this, Kathy said that "it’s hypocritical" and that she honestly "can't understand what goes on in [Teresa's] head. Kathy also took the time to point out that all of the recipes in her cookbook were developed by her, which may be an accusation that Teresa just slaps her name onto things.

Of course, Teresa may be preoccupied with something else. Teresa, along with her husband Joe Giudice, faces sentencing on Tuesday, September 23, for multiple counts of fraud. Both face prison time.

Viewers may see the drama between Kathy Wakile and Teresa Giudice come to a head in a future episode of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." A sneak peek of season six of that E! News posted in mid-May shows Teresa calling Kathy a "b***h."
