Joe and Melissa Gorga from the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" have sold their stunning home in Montville, New Jersey for $3.8 million. On Aug. 20, Us Weekly reported that the Gorga's have purchased a spot of land in Franklin Lakes -- one of the wealthiest towns in America. The reality TV couple plans to build their "dream home" in the town and have their children attend school there.
"I feel like this was meant to be. It happened just in time for the kids to start their first of day of school. It's going to be a lot of work designing and building the new home, but Joe is an incredible builder and I'm excited to go back to where we started our family," Melissa told Us Weekly.
Joe and Melissa Gorga have three children together -- Antonia, 8, Gino, 5, and Joey, 3 -- and while their home in Montville was absolutely amazing, they have wanted to move for quite some time. Previously, the couple wanted to move to get away from Joe's sister Teresa Giudice and her family, their decision to sell their home and relocate doesn't seem to have anything to do with bad blood.
"This is what I love to do. I can't wait to begin building another dream home for my family," said Joe. Franklin Lakes is home to "Housewives" Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita also. Joe's sister, Teresa, lives in Towaco, fairly close to the Gorga's recently sold home.
Joe and Melissa Gorga's new house will be amazing. They both have great taste and Joe is a great contractor. Fans cannot wait to see the finished house perhaps on an upcoming season of "RHONJ." Until their new home is move-in ready, the Gorga's will be renting in Franklin Lakes.
