The Real Housewives Of New Jersey is a "reality show," but could the actual reality be altered by producers for ratings? It's something that most people have come to expect nowadays, because ratings are king in the world of television. That means that some reality shows are scripted, and editing is often done in such a way that situations play out differently than they actually do.

According to Rosie Pierri's on-screen girlfriend, RHONJ isn't all "reality." The star spoke out about Bravo, saying that producers actually "staged" a relationship that she had. Radar Online reports that Ellen Minkin -- whom Rosie met on the last season of the show -- was sort of penciled in to make a better story line for Pierri. Apparently the two didn't have

"When I met her she was getting more involved and I think she needed a storyline and Bravo pushed it. I would hear it from Rosie that she needed a story, that she needed more exposure — like a girlfriend — so she would look like she’s successful. It was really upsetting to me. It was staged," Minkin explained.

The Real Housewives Of New Jersey producers have also been accused of feeding Teresa Giudice lines for her interview pieces. Apparently Giudice has been told what to say during some of her sessions... but this is reality television...
