It doesn't look as if there will be a reconciliation between estranged sisters Dina Manzo and Caroline Manzo any time soon. Wetpaint Entertainment reported on Tuesday, Jan. 7, that Dina went on the talk show "Bethenny" recently and admitted that she has no interested with making up with Caroline, with whom she used to be so close to that they starred on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" together for two seasons.
"I'm fine with [the way things are now]. It's just like, rehashing it is not a good idea, especially with Italians. That does not fly," she responded when asked if she plans on making an effort to improve relations.
Dina added that she doesn't hate her sister, they just don't talk or hang out right now.
Dina also admitted that she's closer to "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" co-star Teresa Giudice than she is to others in her family. She said that as of now, she's "absolutely" closer to Teresa than she is to Jacqueline Laurita, her sister-in-law who has remained by Caroline Manzo's side.
While Dina doesn't care to reach out to her sister right now, she has said in the past that she believes that they'll reconcile some day in the future and that their feud never had anything to do with Teresa Giudice.
So far, viewers of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" still don't know what caused the two sisters to fall out with one another. Perhaps viewers will get some answers in the upcoming season of the show, for which Caroline has left but Dina has returned for.
