“The Real Housewives of Miami” star Marysol Patton has been trying to stay positive after her mother, Elsa Patton, suffered a massive stroke earlier this year. She shared her pain on the first few episodes of the show, which was heartbreaking to most of the co-stars. Everyone seemed to love Elsa, and everyone was wishing her the best. Elsa is popular among the ladies because she is so spiritual and now Patton is learning some tricks from her mother. According to a new Bravo report published on Aug. 28, “The Real Housewives of Miami” star Patton is now revealing that she does use some of her mother’s tricks when it comes to keeping the evil spirits away.
“Cubans are a very spiritual group of people," Patton says. "Many Cubans believe in negative energy, and positive energy, and how you attract it." While she won’t be able to learn her mother’s gift of reading people’s energies, it sounds like she knows how to make a space positive. “
"Incense. You have to use church incense,” she reveals about her efforts to keep the negativity away. "It's actually what the priest has when he's swinging the copper thing around. And then some very good Indian incense, because only the Indians know how to make good incense." After that ceremony, Patton adds white candles. "Candles which bring white light, and light energy," she says.
It sounds like she knows how to make everything positive again. Hopefully her efforts will work on the women. What do you think?
