“The Real Housewives of Miami” star Joanna Krupa may have questioned her relationship to her now-husband while filming the second season of the show, because she found emails sent by him to another woman. And while they stuck together, she thinks that the time in the spotlight only benefitted them. According to a new Bravo blog published on Oct. 21, “The Real Housewives of Miami” star Joanna Krupa is now revealing that the show may have saved her relationship with Romain Zago.
"It definitely could put pressure, but for us, it saved our relationship," she recently revealed to E! News. "I think if it wasn't for The Real Housewives of Miami I think we would've broken up last year. Because, you know, we've been together so many years, we've been engaged so many years, so we were basically living like a married couple. You take each other for granted. When we started filming, [we] had to talk about things we'd normally keep inside. For me, and I'm sure Romain will agree, [it] was more of a therapy for us, filming the show."
It sounds like she knows what effect reality television has on her marriage and relationship, which is a good thing. Many other relationships don't survive the reality curse, so it is admirable they can turn it into something positive.
