“The Real Housewives of Miami” star Joanna Krupa is all about rescuing animals in need and the Los Angeles trip to show off her Los Angeles home proved that she would gladly put animals in her home. According to a new Bravo blog published on Oct. 22, “The Real Housewives of Miami” star Joanna Krupa is now revealing that her husband decided to adopt a dog so she doesn’t miss the ones in her Los Angeles home.
On Monday’s episode of the show, her husband surprised her with a new puppy, one that he had rescued for her. “The best part of Romain’s surprise dinner was when he surprised me with little Darla, whom he rescued from the humane society in Miami. He knew I missed my dogs back in LA and wanted to keep me busy with a puppy in Miami so I wouldn’t miss them too much…,” she reveals.
And rescuing a dog is the right surprise for Joanna since she is all about rescuing animals that are in need. “His idea was to save Darla from the shelter and we would foster her until she would find a permanent home, but we fell in love with her to the point where we couldn't let her go even though we found her a possible permanent home,” she reveals. She also added that Darla is actually living in Los Angeles with the other animals, so the plans to give her a dog for her Miami home failed.
Are you surprised they kept the dog?
