After Shannon Beador appeared on Andy Cohen's show "Watch What Happens Live (WWHL)" last week, there was immediate speculation that she had some work done because she looked so different. People speculated that the "Real Housewives of Orange County" star, whose cheeks and chest looked fuller not only had work done on her face but also her body. On Sunday, August 10, Shannon put up a post on Instagram denying that she had any work done.

Shannon wrote that she did not get any breast augmentation, facial surgery or cheek work, nor did she have her face injected with Botox or fillers. So how does Shannon explain her new look? She wrote that she simply had her hair cut. The post's photo shows her and the hairstylist in the salon, right after she had her hair cut and styled.

Shannon now has long, side-swept bangs and lots of face-framing layers. For both her Instagram photo and "WWHL" appearance, her hair was slightly tousled, with lots of volume on the top. Perhaps her new appearance really is just from a more flattering haircut, along with maybe more sleep, better skin care, and a push-up bra?

Shannon was actually asked on "WWHL" whether she had any work done and she denied it. Shannon obviously felt that she had to address the matter again, probably since there are those who simply don't believe her.

During her first season as an Orange County housewife, Shannon has not been shy to talk about plastic surgery. She admitted in one episode that she had a nose job when she was young because her nose was so huge. In another episode, she denied her husband's request for her to get a boob job, saying that it wouldn't set a good example for their three daughters.

It has been reported that Shannon Beador will definitely be asked back for another season of "The Real Housewives of Orange County." It will be interesting to see whether Shannon continues to reject getting any work done when so many housewives eventually feel the need to improve their looks.
