On the current episodes of "The Real Housewives of Orange County," Heather Dubrow and Tamra Barney are going through an awkward time together. However, their friendship in real time is actually still intact. On Monday, June 9, Heather provided an update on where she currently stands with Tamra.

A fan tweeted Heather and Tamra to ask them how their friendship is right now. The fan hoped that the friendship was still good since she thought that they had a great friendship together. Luckily for the fan, the friendship is still there. Heather replied that they are doing "great" and that she loves Tamra. Tamra has yet to respond. Perhaps she's just too busy running her CUT fitness business?

Since the very first episode, Heather's strained friendship with Tamra and Vicki Gunvalson has been a central storyline. During the premiere episode, in which all three went to Hawaii, Heather pointed out that when she's with Tamra and Vicki individually, she feels great but when all three are together, she feels like the odd woman out. Tamra, backed by Vicki, has continued to tease Heather for being uptight and prudish.

The introduction of Shannon Beador as a housewife didn't help things. Vicki and Tamra instantly took a liking to Shannon, who went on to have a bit of a feud with Heather. Tamra has even made several comments about how Shannon is so much more down-to-earth and fun than Heather. Heather and Tamra eventually sat down together to air out their grievances and agreed to forgive and move on, since they each value their friendship with one another.

So it seems that despite hearing all of Tamra Barney's jokes and insults about her during her talking head interviews for the episodes, Heather Dubrow still considers a Tamra a good friend. Of course, that could all change when they sit down to film the "Real Housewives of Orange County" reunion show, when past grudges and arguments are rehashed again, threatening even the strongest of friendships.
