“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Yolanda Foster went for breakfast at her ex-husband’s house on yesterday’s episode of the show so she could plan their daughter’s celebrations, as she was heading off to college. Yolanda sat down with Mohamed and his new lady, but she turned down all food offers and opted out for tea. She used the word “diet,” which made people think that this skinny woman was trying to shed a few pounds. According to a new Bravo report published on Feb. 10, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Yolanda Foster is now revealing what she meant with her diet comments.

“Due to my profession, I have always been very disciplined about my diet but in the past 18 months even more so due to my battle with Lyme disease. I have learned that the spirochete bacterium feeds off of sugar, carbs, and gluten so unfortunately croissants and all that good stuff is off-limits for me. To be honest, at this point it has become a lifestyle rather than a diet -- and a small price to pay for feeling good,” she reveals.

It sounds like she has a very strict diet, but not because of her health. Sure, she may have learned to turn down sugar because of her modeling career, but she is now turning down sugar to make sure that she is getting the most out of her body during this lyme disease treatment.
