Kim Richards shocked everyone on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” when she announced that she was just minutes away from going under the knife to get a nose job, even though all of the women were in Las Vegas. And while everything went well and she got through the recovery part without taking any prescription drugs, there could have been an evil motive behind the surgery. According to a new Radar Online report released on Feb. 7, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kim Richards had the nose job paid for by Bravo. And this, of course, leads to big speculation because she is a recovering alcoholic and drug addict.
Last season, she announced that she was dealing with alcoholism and that she had been taking prescription drugs to deal with her anxiety. However, she revealed that she had been abusing them. “Kim’s nose job was NO surprise,” reveals a source close to the family. “She went to the same doctor that did Kyle’s oldest daughter Farrah’s nose job, she recommended him to Kim!” But one has to question why Bravo would pay for the nose job, given she would have to take prescription pills to recover from the surgery - an addiction she was dealing with at the time. Could the network be so insensitive to test her sobriety by encouraging her to get the surgery by footing the bill?
“Kim doesn’t have an assistant or a houseman, she can’t afford that, let alone plastic surgery,” the source says. “So the story line was created for her and Bravo footed the bill.” Of course, one could hope that Bravo wanted to please Kim and do something nice for her given her struggles, not test her sobriety for an interesting plot line.
