“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kim Richards may have been working on her sobriety for a while since going to rehab last Christmas for alcoholism and the abuse of prescription drugs, but many of her cast members have been worried about her given her odd behavior in Paris. And it is no wonder that her sister was worried about her because she was acting like she was drunk or high. Lisa asked her downright if she had been taking sleeping pills, not realizing that she was hinting at a relapse. According to a new Radar Online report released on March 12, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kim Richards explains that she had taken the wrong medicine while they traveled to Paris, which made her act odd.
“I wasn’t using anything, I wasn’t doing anything, but physically and mentally I wasn’t okay,” Kim revealed when she was telling Kyle about the mix-up with her pills. “It’s almost the same color,” Kim explained. But Kyle knew something was wrong with her sister, even though she claimed she was sober. “I know that it wasn’t alcohol, but she didn’t seem sober to me,” Kyle confessed. “I didn’t know what was going on with her. I need to know. It makes a lot of sense that she took the wrong medication because I know my sister has been very strong in her sobriety.
It has been a while since the two sisters had a heart-to-heart talk about Kim's sobriety and when Kyle was asking her sister about her sobriety, it just so happens to be at her clothing store opening party. “Seven months ago, I was sitting on a bed not thinking I was going to die…I knew it,” Kim confessed. “I didn’t care anymore. I felt like nobody cared anymore. I didn’t want to die, but I also didn’t care.” Of course, Kyle was emotional about the confession, adding, “I think for Kim to win back 100 percent of my trust is just going to take time.“Eventually we’re going to get to a place where I trust what she’s telling me. But for now…”
