“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Camille Grammer may have been dealing with her divorce on the show when she was filming, but it sounds like she was dealing with much bigger issues recently. Apparently, this mother of two was diagnosed with cancer recently and underwent an immediate surgery to remove it from her uterus. According to a new Radar Online report published on Oct. 12, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Camille Grammer is now tweeting out her thanks to supportive fans after her surgery to remove cancer.
According to the report, Grammer underwent surgery recently after learning she had early stage endometrial cancer. She has had a “radical hysterectomy” her rep confirmed this past week. “The surgery went well and she is expected to make a complete recovery following a significant recuperation period,” the spokesman told People Magazine originally. Camille had been diagnosed with cancer of the lining of the uterus, which is the most common cancer affecting the female reproductive system.
And while Camille didn't make a statement on Twitter, she did reach out to those wishing her the best with her recovery. To one follower, she wrote, “yes, I tested positive a few years ago for the same genetic mutation that my mother has.” It sounds like it may have been something within the family, meaning she was tested rather frequently.
Are you surprised to learn about the cancer diagnosis and surgery?
