‘RHOBH’ star Brandi Glanville using child support claims for book promotion?

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville has been coming out with some serious allegations over the past couple of weeks. A more recent one involved her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian. She claimed that he had been asking for child support for their two sons, even though Eddie is working. He is also married to LeAnn Rimes, who is worth a reported $20 million. So, what is the deal here? According to a new Us Weekly report published on Feb. 19, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville is now being accused of sharing the child support story as a way to get more attention for her new book, “Drinking and Dating.”

After the story went online, Eddie’s rep wanted to put the story to rest. "There is no truth to the claims that Eddie has requested child support from Brandi now, nor will he ever request child support from his ex-wife," Cibrian’s rep has revealed. "The notion is preposterous. This is yet another ploy for self-promotion." Of course, the story comes just days after her new book, “Drinking and Dating” was released. Perhaps she is trying to get it to be on the bestsellers list again.

Of course, the story began after Brandi used Twitter to complain about her ex-husband, something she rarely does. "2 all these young unmarried bloggers writing about getting over divorce & not seeing ur children grow up 1/2 the time, walk a mile in my shoes," the Drinking & Dating author tweeted. "I'm not taking cheap shots at my ex in my new book cuz it's all true & now mr fancy new cars & house man is asking ME for child support! U know nada." She added: "Everytime I take 1 step frwd [sic] I get a lawyers letter that takes me 3 steps back so when people say move on, I say 2 my ex LET ME! Just STOP. Going to stay positive and focus on my new book & let my lawyer handle the rest."

Do you think he asked her for help?
