"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills''" producers at Bravo are looking to heat up the already steamy drama, and send their ratings through the roof by adding some fresh blood into the mix. Radar Online reported on Thursday, Feb.21 that Bravo has approached Brandi Glanville's number one enemy to join the show's cast, LeAnn Rimes.
Sources close to the show stated to the celebrity news site that Bravo producers have been in talks with LeAnn Rimes for the past several weeks.
"Viewers are fascinated by Brandi, how she's dealt with her marriage being broken up by LeAnn, and the pain that it continues to cause her and her family," stated the source.
“Executives at Bravo have told LeAnn that appearing on the show would be a great opportunity for her to get her side of the story out and no longer be seen in a negative light. However, she has continued to shut the offers down, claiming she doesn't’t want the added drama in her life, that she has a flourishing music career, and that she just doesn't’t need to do a reality television show.”
Bravo has been searching for new ideas on how to blow the ratings through the roof and putting both Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes on the same reality show would surely add some very explosive story lines to already immensely popular reality series, and bring in thousands of new viewers who would tune in just to see the continuing battles between the two women.
It has been reported that a number of RHOBH cast are looking to get the ax and that Brandi Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump are the only two women that have been guaranteed to return to the fourth season.
With Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes' public history of hatred towards each other it would only make sense that Bravo cash in on some of the drama making it a windfall for all involved. Question is will Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes go with the idea?
