Most people who follow “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” or any of the tabloids know that Brandi Glanville has a new tell-all book entitled “Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders.” Now, according to Us Weekly on Feb. 26, the 40-year-old star of RHOBH is looking at turning that book into a screenplay.
"Just had a talk about turning my book into a movie!" Glanville tweeted Feb. 25. "Maybe we should pitch it to Lifetime. An unromantic comedy!"
The Lifetime reference was a direct hit on ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and current wife LeAnn Rimes, who met and had an affair during the filming of the Lifetime movie “Northern Lights” in 2008. Both Cibrian and Rimes divorced their respective spouses and got married in May of 2011.
Brandi Glanville calls it as she sees it and it’s rarely complimentary where Rimes is concerned. In one part of the book, she calls LeAnn Rimes “washed up.” At other times, she’s “Eddie’s future ex,” “what’s-her-face” and “f**king ruthless.”
At one point, though, she almost sounds like she feels sorry for LeAnn Rimes. . . almost.
"When LeAnn set her sights on Eddie, she was relentless about getting him, and the damage her decision would cause never seemed to register," wrote Glanville, who shares custody of 9-year-old Mason and 5-year-old Jake with Cibrian, 39. "She won. I'll give her that. But she also won a marriage full of doubt, insecurities and a perpetual voice in her head saying, 'Is he telling the truth?' For that, I pity her."
So if the book goes to film, do you think it will be a hit? Leave a comment if you’re a Brandi Glanville follower, good or bad, with your opinion on turning “Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders” into a film.
