“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes was one of the housewives from Atlanta, who got a rumored $1 million for filming the previous season, but it sounds like the other housewives want more to continue. Of course, Kenya Moore was attacked by Porsha Stewart at the reunion, which she may feel require a raise to continue. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on June 16, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes and the other ladies supposedly want more money to film the new season.

Of course, NeNe is known for being the highest paid reality star in the franchise, but it sounds like she may even be wanting more than the other girls. In addition to her $1 million, NeNe also made money from appearances and related Bravo endorsements. The second-highest paid star on the show is Kandi Burruss, who is rumored to be making around $450,000 per season. Of course, she is worth more than NeNe, with a rumored net worth of $35 million.

It sounds like the women want more money. “The Real Housewives of New York” stars tried to hold out on filming so they could get more money, and Countess LuAnn de Lesseps was one of the women who was the last one to sign the contracts. However, it sounds like some of the girls are willing to go back, even with the salary they are getting.

Apparently, Kenya had signed a contract for a $600,000 paycheck for season 6, but these were just rumors. It would be interesting if she got more money than Kandi Burruss, especially since Kandi has been on the show for a longer period of time. Plus, Kenya does bring more drama than Kandi in regards to the other women, so maybe Bravo is more eager to pay more for that.

What do you think? Should the women demand more money for filming the show?
