'RHOA' stars Kandi and Phaedra teaming up to being Kim down in court

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss is very tardy for the party in this case, as she has decided to file a lawsuit against Kim Zolciak over lost profits when it comes to the song, “Don't Be Tardy For the Party,” which was a song the girls worked on and released a few seasons ago. Although Kandi had claimed that she was over the drama and just wanted to let Kim keep the profits she got, something must have clicked with Kandi over the past couple of months, because she has decided to file a lawsuit against her former friend. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report released on March 13, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss has teamed up with none other than Phaedra Parks to bring Kim down in court.

However, it isn't just Kandi who is suing Kim. Her co-writer Rodney Richards is also part of the lawsuit. The two are seeking “damages for copyright infringement due to Defendants' unauthorized and unlawful licensing, distribution and sale of Plaintiffs' creative works, namely a sound recording embodying a performance of a musical composition entitled 'Tardy for the Party.’” Kandi is planning on using Phaedra as her attorney and since Phaedra has taken the case, one has to wonder if there is some proof that Kandi is actually entitled to some of Kim's money.

Are you surprised that Kim hasn't paid Kandi anything for the song, except a $3,000 fee which was paid upfront? Or do you think that Kim should be more understanding, given she didn't exactly create the success of the song on her own?
