Sunday, January 12 EUR reported that Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star Porsha Williams is gearing up for a music career. The site reports that she is getting her vocal chords ready for the release of her upcoming 5 track EP that has no set release date as of yet.

The 32 year old has gone through a very public divorce from ex-husband Kordell Stewart, which RHOA fans get the weekly opportunity to watch on the Bravo network. During a recent interview with TheGrio's Chris Witherspoon, the housewife spoke a little on the upcoming EP.

“I’m in the studio. I’m working on a song that is amazing and it speaks to my past relationship and it’s gonna be released really soon,” explained Williams.

During a past RHOA reunion show Porsha displayed her singing ability and shocked fans with her rendition of the gospel song, "Amazing Grace." Although she can sing, she reveals that she's not ready to put a full album together.

“[The EP] will be about 5 songs,” she said. “I’m not gonna really jump all the way out there because these are coming from my heart. I’m not gonna put too much on myself and say 13 [tracks]… a whole album.”

She may not want to put "too much of herself" into the production of a whole album but Porsha is ready to commit to moving forward from her divorce drama with Kordell and on to building her empire.

"I'm building an empire...a beauty empire. It is all about bringing out your inner beauty. I feel like we don't need to be our circumstance, we need to be above that. We need to always feel confident no matter what we're going through financially, romantically...whatever," Porsha explains. "I just want to build women up and encourage them."

Her first step in encouraging women will be the release of her EP which she believes will be "a woman's anthem."
