“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Phaedra Parks hasn’t said much after learning that her husband will be going to jail. He was sentenced earlier this week after pleading guilty to various charges, including identity theft and wire fraud. The judge decided to give him 8 years behind bars, but chances are that he will serve much less time. According to a new Hollywood Life report published on July 10, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Phaedra Parks is now contemplating whether to wait for him.

Phaedra has not said anything publicly about their changing life, but Kandi Burruss recently revealed that Phaedra was doing well. She was drowning herself in her business and focusing on their two children. Phaedra was not at Apollo’s sentencing, which did raise some eyebrows. But she also once said that divorce was not an option.

“Right now, she’s with him and that’s where things stand,” a source has revealed. “That’s her husband and the father of her children and took her vows very seriously.” But 8 years does seem like a long time. Luckily, Phaedra has plenty of friends to support her and she does have two children to take care of, Ayden and Dylan.

Before going to jail, Phaedra and Apollo want to take some pictures that he can bring with him to jail. “She wants to capture that father-son dynamic so that her children will know that they have a father and that he’s very much a part of their lives,” the source adds. The judge has agreed that it would be best to place Apollo in a jail that is close to Atlanta, so he can continue to build on his relationship with his sons.

Kandi and Kenya Moore are the only two housewives who have spoken out after the sentence was made public. They have both said that they feel bad for Phaedra. Earlier this season, Kenya’s friend Brandon DeShazer had the opportunity to report Apollo for beating him up. He ended up fracturing one of Brandon’s ribs, which was an automatic felony. However, Brandon didn’t press charges against Apollo because of his children.

But Apollo can’t escape the feds. What do you think of Phaedra sticking with her husband? Should she divorce him?
