“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes has been filming the show since the beginning and she has used the platform to get ahead in her career. If that wasn't enough, she has also claimed to have become rich from doing various things related to the show. But it sounds like she wants to encourage others to follow their dreams by moving forward from their current location in life. According to a new tweet released on March 30, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes is now remembering her past as a single mother, who was trapped and scared.

Of course, NeNe is now a powerful person in the entertainment industry. She gained fame by being on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and she got a couple of starring roles in Hollywood, including on “Glee” and on “The New Normal.” If that wasn’t enough, she has been working on a clothing line as well.

But it wasn’t always a glamorous life for NeNe. She has often spoken out about being abused by her first husband and being a single mother. “22 yrs ago I was lost, scared, trapped & a single mom! I care enough abt myself 2 change my life & u can 2! Wit God, anything is possible,” she revealed on Twitter this morning. Perhaps she is working hard on getting further in life. She is currently competing on “Dancing with the Stars.”

What do you think of NeNe’s comment?
