“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes is very vocal on Twitter, as she is often tweeting about her busy work schedule and promoting the various television shows that she is starring on. However, it sounds like she is also updating fans via Twitter about health. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Dec. 5, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes is now speaking out on her blood clot that got her really sick a few weeks back.

She scared people when she was sharing pictures of her arm with IVs earlier this year, and now, she is speaking out about her experiences. She sat down with Kelly Ripa on “Live with Kelly and Michael” to talk about her illness. "I got really sick," NeNe reveals about her blood clots in her lungs. "Just one night, I started feeling a pain under my breast and in my back, and then it moved to my shoulder.”

"Gregg kept saying, 'You got gas,'” NeNe says. "And I was like, 'I do not have gas. Not in my shoulder and under my breast.'" She also revealed why she may have gotten the blood clots - her busy schedule. "It was so excruciating," she says of the pain. "I went to the emergency room, and I have pulmonary embolisms, which are blood clots on your lungs. It was from flying; I fly a lot."
