“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes has been busy filming various shows in Hollywood, including “Glee” and “The New Normal.” Of course, NeNe had been acting long before she went onto the hit Bravo show, so it isn't surprising that she has used her reality television platform to land some roles for scripted shows. However, it sounds like she is ready to leave one of her shows behind, as she left Hollywood behind yesterday and returned to Atlanta to continue filming the Bravo show. According to a new tweet released on March 12, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes revealed that she was leaving “The New Normal” behind for now and returning to Atlanta to film.
“I just wrapped my first season on The New Normal! Lots of tears wit Ali Adler love u alley cat,” NeNe tweeted yesterday. It sounds like she is just wrapping up the first season of the show, not leaving the show behind completely. “The New Normal” has supposedly been picked up for another season, so NeNe will be returning to Hollywood to continue filming the show. So, what about “The Real Housewives of Atlanta?” Well, NeNe returned to Atlanta this morning to film the reunion special, which is being filmed today. “I have landed n the ATL! Good morning tweeties,” she tweeted. The reunion news was confirmed by Cynthia earlier this week.
