“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes announced earlier this week that she would be competing on “Dancing with the Stars” this year. Just weeks ago, she was rushed to the hospital because of pains in her chest and she was diagnosed with blood clots in her lungs. If that wasn’t enough, she was in the hospital for a couple of days as she dealt with her health. So, of course, people are concerned that she may not be healthy for the dancing competition. According to a new Bravo report published on March 4, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes is now revealing that her doctor has approved her to compete.

Of course, this dancing competition is tough, but it sounds like NeNe is ready. "It is a really grueling schedule, and I don't feel like anybody needs to worry about my health," she revealed. "I'm doing what I'm supposed to be do, I've been cleared by my doctor, I'm on a daily medication." Of course, NeNe said that getting diagnosed with blood clots was a scary experience, so she would want to take it easy and change her lifestyle. And one can imagine that her husband will be keeping her in check.

It sounds like NeNe is ready to dance and compete. One has to wonder how far she will go on the show. Do you think she will beat out Lisa Vanderpump?
