“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes was eager to host the women at her house as the women were in Hollywood to visit her, but things quickly changed when the women were running very late to the dinner. NeNe met them at the door and decided to tell them to leave again. She wasn’t having it. After watching the show, NeNe may have realized that she was too harsh with the women. According to a new Bravo blog report released on Mar. 4, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes reveals that she may have been a little too rude when the women showed up at her home for dinner – three hours late.
“With that said, I was very excited for the ladies to visit me, and if you’re anything like me, when you’re having guests you’re running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to make things perfect! I hired a chef, wait staff, bartender, and a bar back. I wanted it perfect. I know we have certain girls who are notorious for being extremely late, so much so that I planned in my mind that they would show up by 10 pm,” NeNe writes in her blog. “When I got the call at 11:40 pm, I felt totally disrespect and hurt that they would even do this to me after all my planning and asking for time off work! When I watched the show back, maybe my tone could have been different, and I accept that, but this was a dinner party planned especially for them! I had five other important guests that I wanted them to meet, but three had already left by the time they arrived.”
Of course, NeNe was hurt that the women didn’t call earlier to let her know that they would be late. So, she was hurt and she took it out on the women. Do you think she was right to react the way she did?
