‘RHOA’ star Marlo Hampton to join cast as NeNe ends friendship

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Marlo Hampton has been on the show once before, but her role was short-lived. She was given the boot at the same time as Sheree Whitfield, but it appears that she is making a return thanks to her friendship with Kenya Moore. And this news comes just days after her fight with NeNe aired. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on March 20, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Marlo Hampton is rumoured to be returning to the show after her fight with NeNe Leakes.

All About the Real Housewives is claiming that NeNe will have to film with Marlo Hampton as she has signed on to be the next housewife. “The entire cast of the popular Bravo reality tv series is expected to return for a new season- NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burruss, Porsha Stewart, Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore. On top of that, it looks like the drama Marlo Hampton stirred up with Leakes in her recent appearances snagged her a full time cast member spot as well,” reveals the statement.

However, Marlo won’t be the only new housewife. “But it doesn’t end there as Mynique Smith is also rumored to be joining the cast. Viewers might remember Smith, who’s NFL player husband Chuck reportedly used to date Burruss and Phaedra. The couple, who are close friends with Leakes and her husband Gregg, caused a slight stir in recent episodes when he denied his relationship with both of the women in what appeared to be an attempt to save face with his wife,” continues the statement.

It sounds like the drama this past season was enough to get producers excited about bringing back some of the housewives from seasons past. Marlo was part of the show a couple of seasons ago, but it sounds like Mynique will be new next season. Her husband caused some trouble with the housewives, so it will be interesting to see this new dynamic.
