“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss didn’t witness the entire conversation between her friend Carmon and her own mother, but it sounds like she isn't taking sides. She isn't defending her friend over the rumours that she is sleeping with Todd and she isn't putting her mother in her place. According to a new Radar Online report published on Dec. 9, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss’ mother may be a little overprotective of her daughter.
Kandi invited her mother and her two aunts, Bertha and Nora, to her dress fitting, but all of them were not thrilled at the idea of Kandi getting married. “She ain’t going to wear it nowhere,” they said during the appointment. Mama Joyce would only approve, “If she finds somebody else to marry,” Joyce revealed. And it sounds like her mother was so upset about the wedding that she started blaming Kandi’s friend, Carmon.
And while Carmon wanted her friend to marry Todd Tucker, none of her family members wanted Kandi to get married. “I don’t want you to marry,” one said. “I don’t either,” her other aunt said. “Well, you know how I feel about him,” Joyce growled. Of course, none of her family members want Kandi to get married and it seems to be all about money.
As Todd himself mentioned on a previous season, he revealed that Joyce would probably accept him if he had millions of dollars and one has to wonder if she said that because she knows she is the next line for Kandi's money. What do you think?
