“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss and her mother have always been close, but her mother has never supported her in her relationships. She has yet to accept Todd Tucker, and she never fully accepted AJ a couple of seasons ago. Kandi’s mother has proven that she will only accept a man for her daughter, who makes more than her. That way, the men are not taking advantage of her daughter. And now, it sounds like fans can address her directly. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Jan. 13, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss is now revealing that her mother is now on Twitter.

One has to wonder if this is a good idea. Kandi’s mother has decided to join Twitter, even though many people strongly disagree with her behavior this season. "Well my mom has decided to join twitter.... Please be nice to her! Follow @themamajoyce Rt!" Kandi revealed yesterday as the show was airing.

Kandi herself seems to be worried about the comments that her mother will face because of her dislike for Kandi’s man, Todd, but it sounds like she is ready to address them. She started out by tweeting, "The mean things people say shouldn't make you mad because you can't miss a friend you never had."

Do you think this is a good idea?
