“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker got married last month and it sounds like they finally decided to put the past behind them and ignore what Kandi’s mother, Mama Joyce has said about their relationship. And it sounds like they are happy with their decision. In a recent interview, Todd revealed that he didn’t regret it one bit, even though he had an uphill battle. According to a new report, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss is now speaking out about her marriage.

Before getting married, her mother wasn’t thrilled about it and she often left Kandi in tears due to her comments about their relationship. But Joyce has agreed to keep her thoughts to herself, and Kandi and Todd got married. And Joyce has revealed she won’t talk unless her theory about Todd came true. But does Kandi have confidence in her marriage to Todd, given her mother’s comments about their love? How does she feel now that her wedding is over?

“Both of my parents have been married multiple times. With that being said, I never really had confidence in marriage,” says Kandi. “I felt like, if you can get married and divorced so easily, ain’t that just like going together?”

Todd has been working in Los Angeles after trying the knot, so they are working hard to keep the love and spice alive. She reveals that she will keep her love a priority, meaning Todd comes first. She and Todd do not spend more than two weeks apart, meaning they can keep things alive during those weekends together. She also reveals that she sees love differently now that they are working hard and has successful careers.

“I think love changes things. And as I got older, I wanted a teammate to spend the rest of my life with … Todd and I are a force. We’re able to do things together that I probably wouldn’t have even thought about. He pushes me. He motivates me. I just love us.”

It sounds like she has plenty of confidence in her marriage and knows how to keep it alive. While Joyce may have her opinions of their relationship, Kandi knows what Todd wants and how she can make it work. Do you think that this will work out for them?
