“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss has had plenty of success in the music industry and she has been working on creating various business ventures. Last month, she had massive success with a play she orchestrated in Atlanta and now she is growing that part of her career by moving everything to New York City. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Dec. 4, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss is now revealing that she will be appearing in a musical in New York.

The musical is a comedy called “NEWSical The Musical” and it will be starting Jan. 13. She will appear in the show for about two weeks. "I am thrilled to join the cast of “NEWSical The Musical”” Kandi says. "Having just come off of my own musical production, “NEWSical The Musical” furthers my journey in entertainment to, simultaneously, do more of what I love: act and sing."

And it sounds like she is joining a cast of excellent stars. "Being a part of an illustrious list of stars that have previously joined the show is an honor," Kandi adds, revealing that the cast has included Perez Hilton, “Queer Eye”'s Carson Kressley, and La Toya Jackson. What do you think of her new venture?
