‘RHOA’ star Apollo Nida hands over passport in hopes of staying out of jail

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Apollo Nida was charged with fraud and identity theft this past week and the charges quickly made headlines online. For one, he is married to a big-name attorney in Atlanta, Phaedra Parks, and second, he has a past in the prison system. If he is found guilty on these charges, he could face more prison time. According to a new Radar Online report published on Jan. 28, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Apollo Nida is now taking actions to avoid going back into jail.

Apollo posted $25,000 in bail after being charged with bank fraud and identity theft. One can imagine that Phaedra is doing everything possible to keep her husband out of jail, but he has a lengthy list of things he has to do to avoid going back into jail. Maybe Phaedra is helping him by keeping him in the home.

Nida is required to regularly report to a probations officer, and actively seek employment, according to court reports. And his work with Bravo on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” does not count as work. He was also forced to ditch his passport, as he can’t leave the area. And if he does need to leave, he has to tell the police about it. If Nida violates any of these terms, the documents warn, it “may result in the immediate issuance of a warrant for your arrest … and could result in a term of imprisonment, a fine, or both.”

Do you think he will head back to jail?
