“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Apollo Nida was charged with starting false businesses and using false identities just after Christmas. He was given a court date, but added that he wanted to ask for more time to come up with a defense. His extension ends next week, so it will be interesting to see what will happen. According to a new Radar Online report published on March 18, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Apollo Nida could be close to striking a plea deal to get off the hook for the false businesses he started.
A legal document has surfaced about where the case currently stands. “They are still in the process of investigating additional facts and negotiating a resolution,” the documents explain, and “have made substantial progress toward a resolution of this case.” In other words, he will get an extension to deal with his charges and he has until April 25 to come up with a new defense. This could include a plea deal.
The new extension ensures he will have “sufficient time to consult with his counsel, investigate all facts material to resolving this matter, and continue said discussions with the government,” his attorneys wrote. It will be interesting to see how he will come up with a new defence.
Do you think he is guilty?
