“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” producers are there with the women when they are filming, but they are not controlling the story lines as to what the women will say. This week, NeNe Leakes went to Kenya Moore’s charity event and she made a harsh speech about having fake friends. This season of the show does appear to be more dramatic, as people are speaking their minds, but some viewers are not digging all the drama. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Feb. 19, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” producer Carlos King is now being slammed for making the show so vicious this season.
“What have you done to #RHOA @kingdomlos this is too much mess this season,” a viewer of the show wrote to a producer, Carlos. However, the producer didn’t seem to think that the show had changed for the worse. In fact, ratings have never been higher for the show. “We've made it entertaining! Continue watching,” he writes back, adding later, “My girls are so entertaining! Gotta love them. Chews popcorn in Suspense.”
Of course, the women are outspoken and surely one comment could rattle one of them. For example, NeNe Leakes, Kenya Moore and Marlo Hampton are all very outspoken and if they are not getting along, then fireworks will surely fly. And this seems to be the goal of the show this season, as strong women are filming together.
What do you think of the show? Are producers to blame?
