Kenya Moore might look like an over the top character on “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but the celebrity obviously has a big heart online. While many stars focus on their immediate needs, Kenya took time to offer a fans who is gay and being bullied some strong advice to make life better. On Sunday Fashion and Style suggested that Kenya Moore and Phaedra Parks might be embattled in one of the biggest fights on “Real Housewives” history, but after hearing the advice the star gave her fan, it might be more of a show than anything.
“No, but we all have low moments. Read great books and focus on what u do best. That is where u will find more confidence,” tweeted Kenya Moore on Friday talking about finding focus in life.
When Kenya Moore saw her fan’s response, she followed up and suggested that bullying isn’t acceptable and people need to know that they matter, she posted words of encouragement to the fan:
“U are not alone. Check out #glaad support. Be strong and listen to #gonewiththewindfabulous no one can tell u who u r. U know.”
The line between reality and real life sometimes gets blurred when viewers watch television. Perhaps that is because there is a story line to follow or maybe a character that needs to be focused on and this season on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” it has been Kenya’s moment as she repeatedly is getting the focus of the cameras.
Off camera, it appears she is just as genuine as can be and really does care about her fans. In her position, Moore can help remind people that they shouldn’t bow to bullying. Nor should they be anything less than who they are. And it’s great to see she uses her star power to do just that!
