Kenya Moore put on quite the show in Las Vegas over the weekend. As shown in a video posted on TMZ on Monday, July 21, the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star fell while on stage walking a runway in front of a big audience. However, instead of just lying there embarrassed, she recovered in such a way that had everyone laughing and applauding her.
Kenya was at the Caesars Palace for a high-rollers competition event. She and other housewives from other cities were paired with high rollers to compete in silly games. One of the games was to teach the high rollers how to walk a runway. Kenya, being a former USA, was ready to show everyone how it's done.
Kenya, wearing a pale blue jumpsuit, confidently did some theatrics with her arms before strutting down the runway. However, midway down the runway, she stumbled and fell towards the ground.
That's when the show really started. Kenya broke her fall with her arm and rolled over. She flipped her hair dramatically as she got up on her knees and did several more hair flips in all directions. She then triumphantly raised her hand, got up, did some booty shakes, and walked back down the runway towards her seat.
Unfortunately, if Kenya felt any embarrassment over her stumble, it was likely increased when the host actually mistook her for one of her co-stars! "That's Kandi everybody!" said the host as Kenya got to her seat. Someone told him that she wasn't Kandi Burruss and the host quickly apologized.
Like a true performer, Kenya Moore isn't letting the incident get her down and is rather proud of the way she recovered. After TMZ posted the video, the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star took to Twitter to liken herself to Beyonce, who has had her fair share of tumbles. She wrote that the fall was not choreographed and that she channeled her inner Beyonce to flip her hair and keep the show moving. She also noted that she won that particular game.
