On the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 6 episode Sunday night, Kandi Burruss and her mother, Joyce, were in another mother/daughter disagreement over Todd. Kandi updated her Bravo blog Dec. 1 to address the concerns her mother has for her fiance. Her message was fairly brief and to the point to her fans who suggest she tell her mother off because she's been so controlling about their engagement.
Kandi wrote in her blog that she does "speak" her mind to her mother, but doesn't "say it in some crazy disrespectful way" because she is STILL her mother. The "RHOA" star added that she's not sure what her fans want her to do. Many of them have taken to Twitter to let Kandi know how they feel. Apparently some of them are "screaming" at her.
Here is what Kandi wrote:
"So to everyone who is screaming at me through the TV screen to 'do something about my mom,' I’m not sure exactly what you expect me to do. I can only say how I feel, and if she doesn’t listen to me, then what? I don’t agree with my friend Carmon on how she said she would handle it if it were her mom. I don’t believe in cutting off your relationship with your mom. So for now I’m just hoping that over time things will work out for the best."
Kandi's mother believes that Todd is an "opportunist." She thinks Todd is mostly interested in her daughter for her money and not because he truly loves her. It's been an uphill battle all season so far between Kandi and her mother on "RHOA."
On the next "Real Housewives of Atlanta," Kandi's mother will make another scene when Kandi has a dress fitting. Carmon will be there and things get really ugly.
