Rihanna will add fashion designer to her belt Feb 16. as she debut her new collection Rhianna for Rivr Island at London Fashion Week. The collection was designed by the pop princess herself for the store River Island which is one of the most successful stores on high street in London with over 60 years of fashion retailing experience. River Island has nearly 300 stores across the UK, Ireland and internationally throughout Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
River Island is known for its stylish and affordable fashion and the unique touches we bring to our collections, which give us standout from the rest of the High Street. The company expresses it excitement about the line in a statement from chief executive Ben Lewis stating "We are very excited to present our Rhianna for River Island collection at London Fashion Week this is the perfect platform to showcase Rhianna’s design talent and ambition"
Statement release to the press by Rhianna says, "Launching at London Fashion Week is a dream come true for me. I have wanted to design my own collection for a long time and to present my collection for River Island alongside all of the other great design talent at LFW is a real privilege. I can't wait to see the reaction from my fans and the fashion press!"
The collection includes clothing and accessories and will launch in U.K. River Island stores on March 5th. It will be available in America and Japan at Opening Ceremony stores.
