Now that filming for season five of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" has begun, the show's stars are revealing more to the press about what viewers may see soon. In an interview with Us Weekly, posted on Friday, June 27, Kyle Richards spoke out about the rumor that her friend Faye Resnick is joining the show and the departures of Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia.

Interior designer Faye was seen frequently on the show's first three seasons. Very outspoken, she clashed with many of the housewives when she attended events as Kyle's guest, including Camille Grammer, Brandi Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump. While Faye's return may mean more drama, and thus ratings, for the show, it's not happening. When asked whether it's true that Faye is coming back as an official housewife, Kyle responded that she "know[s] that’s not true."

Kyle also spoke out about the departures of Joyce and Carlton. both of whom were dropped from the show after only one season. Kyle said that she felt "50/50" about the departures. She pointed out that she and Joyce got along fine during their time on the show together, so obviously she's sad that Joyce is no longer a housewife.

The flip side is that Kyle's quite happy about Carlton's departure. She said that "there is no love lost" between her and Carlton, who had a problem with her from the very beginning and was never nice. She revealed that she has not seen Carlton since season four ended. Kyle also speculated that viewers didn't respond well to Carlton because they thought she was not authentic, a clear reference to some fans' belief that Carlton made up her mind to be Kyle's enemy even before filming began because she thought that would be more advantageous.

The big question now is who producers will bring in to replace Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia. As it stands, besides Kyle Richards, season five of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" will feature Kim Richards, Yolanda Foster, Lisa Vanderpump, and Brandi Glanville.
